Surveying the Seabed with Open Seas: I volunteered with Open Seas to support a research expedition surveying the seabed around Gigha and Islay. Working alongside Research Officer, Anna Safryghin, and Research Coordinator, Lois Flounders, I assisted with boat and ROV operations to help ground-truth data and assess the current condition of key marine sites. Throughout the trip, I also captured photography and video content to contribute to Open Seas' film projects and communications, documenting both the science and the story behind protecting Scotland’s coastal waters.
