Joining the Wilder Firths team in the Cromarty Firth, I documented and took part in seagrass restoration work aimed at rebuilding vital coastal ecosystems in the Scottish Highlands. Alongside photographing the project, I helped collect seagrass and sediment cores from healthy donor meadows and transplant them into carefully surveyed restoration sites to help establish new seagrass habitat. This important work contributes to improving biodiversity, supporting marine life and strengthening the long-term resilience of coastal ecosystems.
